Act It Out

How to play

1. Form two to eight teams and choose three or five turns per team. Pick a performer for each turn. Everyone plays around one shared screen.
2. Everyone except the performer looks away. Select Show my character. The card names who to portray: a person, profession, animal or fictional character. Start acting hides it and starts the 60-second timer.
3. Become that character using gestures only. No talking, sounds, writing or spelling. Your teammates guess who you are, rather than describing a whole scene. The host may accept an equivalent name.
4. The host selects Guessed it for one point or Pass for no points. The character is revealed when the turn ends. Correct the result if needed, then continue to the next team. The highest total wins.

1. Use one phone or tablet for the group. Add two to eight teams and choose the number of turns.
2. Pass the device to the performer. Others look away while the character card is visible. Tap Start acting to hide it before showing the screen again.
3. Portray the named person, animal or character without words. Your teammates guess who you are. The host taps Guessed it or Pass.
4. Review the revealed character, correct the score if needed, and pass the device to the next team. Each team receives the same number of turns.
