Haunted Escape

How to play

1. Choose Solve together or Team challenge. Follow one connected journey through five fixed puzzles. No timer or outside folklore knowledge is needed.
2. Explore objects in each illustration and read all three clues. Return to an object to reread its note. The clue counter tracks discoveries; it does not open a clue list.
3. Library: order four lock symbols. Graveyard: plan a route through three cemetery rows. Marsh: plot three islands with one repair plank. Chapel: turn four reflectors and watch the beam. Ferry: distribute counterweights to balance the boarding ramp.
4. Together: submit a complete answer. Each scene allows three attempts; an incorrect attempt costs one point. The chapel displays the attempted light path; other puzzles do not mark individual choices right or wrong.
5. Teams: every team writes its answer first. Collect all papers, then enter and seal each answer using the scene controls. Reveal results only after every team has submitted.
6. Each scene starts at 5 points. Each public hint reduces the reward by one, to a minimum of 2. After one hint, two correct teams each earn 4 points. Cooperative wrong-attempt penalties can reduce a successful score to 1.
7. Read the explanation after each puzzle and continue to the next scene. Reveal this solution, in the hint panel, skips the current puzzle for zero points while keeping earlier scores.
8. After the ferry, final totals decide the winning team; equal leaders share victory. Browser saves preserve progress when available. Restart resets the journey but does not change its solutions.

1. Tap objects in the illustration to inspect clues, and tap scene controls to propose an answer.
2. Use fullscreen for a larger view. The entire scene stays visible; clue panels have a separate, always-visible close button.
3. Use Undo or Reset reflectors to adjust an answer before submitting.
